Analysis of “1-5” Vital Electrical Fire Accident in Particular of Lisheng Coal Mine and Its Preventive Measures

Abstract:
The paper analyzed time, type, place and causes of “1?5” vital electrical fire accident in particular of Lisheng Coal Mine, and considered that the fire accident happened in the No.3 blind shaft of the central shaft at 2010-01-05T12:05. It got causes of the accident: an old non-fire resistant cable fired because of short current; main ventilator had not run before the accident; there were incomplete ventilating equipments as well as wrongful series ventilation, no independent ventilation system, no water supply system in the central shaft and no escaping passages under -240 m mining level; underground miners had not carried self-rescuers. Finally, it proposed following preventive measures of the kind of fire accident: (1) Do not use non-fire resistant cable and old cable. (2) Do not use electrical switches and equipments prohibited by explicit order, and protection devices for leakage, over-current and grounding must be set, tuned and calibrated in mine power supply system according to corresponding rules and standards. (3) There must be no less than 2 safe walking passages leading to the ground in tunnels and working areas besides driving working faces and temporary areas, and no less than 2 walking exits connecting to the ones leading to the ground between a mining level and an upper mining level or each district. (4) There must be mine safety sign on mine hoisting equipments. (5) Main ventilator of mine cannot stop, there must be independent ventilating system in mine, and ventilating equipments must be set according to Coal Mine Safety Regulations. (6) There must be water supply system underground. (7) Workers underground must carry oxygen self-rescuer.
Design of Remote Monitoring System of Mine Main Ventilator

Abstract:
In order to solve problems that existing detecting modes of running parameters of mine main ventilator are poor in precision and real-time performance and unable to realize overall monitoring, a design scheme of remote monitoring system of mine main ventilator was proposed. In the system, C8051F020 single chip microcomputer is as control core and parameters of main ventilator are collected by data collection module including wind pressure, wind quantity, three-phase voltage, three-phase current, active power, efficiency, vibration, bearing temperature of motor,etc. The parameters could be displayed on local LCD real-timely after processing and monitoring interface of upper computer through GPRS network. The trial running result showed that the system runs without mistake and disconnection.
Design of Pre-post Training and Testing System for Coal Miner

Abstract:
In order to solve problems that existing safety training system of coal mine is independent of welling attendance system and has poor training effect, the paper proposed a design scheme of pre-post training and testing system for coal miner, and gave structure, working process and main functions of the system. The system uses mixed development mode of B/S and C/S, integrates safety quantification management system and iris attendance system through unified portal management mode, and adopts welling management method of examination before attendance, namely the miners only passing examination can go underground. The application showed that the system improves initiative of miners for learning safety rules and validity of safety training of coal mine, which provides a new method of safety management and training of coal mine.
Design of a Novel Mine-used Intelligent Water-pressure Sensor

Abstract:
The paper introduced design schemes of whole structure, main hardware circuits and software of a novel mine-used intelligent water-pressure sensor based on STM32F103RBT6. The sensor adopts design way of low power consumption circuit and time-sharing power supply way to make power consumption be 0.006 mA under idle condition and 0.5 mA under collection and sending condition.

Abstract:
In order to solve problems of high cost, single function and lack of on-line parameter adjustment of existing monitoring instruments for mine geological safety, the paper proposed a realization method of virtual instrument system for microseismic monitoring, and mainly introduced design schemes of data acquisition card based on ARM and monitoring software of upper computer based on LabVIEW. The system has realized functions of on-line parameter setting and real-time acquisition, filtering, storage, analysis, wave display and printing of microseismic monitoring data of multi-channel.
Analysis of Electric Leakage Fault of Mine Multi-level Power Supply Network and Its Detectio

Abstract:
The paper analyzed fault components at the electric leakage moment of isolated neutral power supply system and power supply network connected to earth through an arc suppression coil, and got electrical characteristics of fault point. It also analyzed distribution of zero-sequence current of mine multi-level power supply network and got following collusions: (1) When electric leakage fault happens in isolated neutral power supply system, leakage current of the grounding line is the maximum in the whole power supply system, and zero-sequence current of the grounding line is bigger than the ones of the superior lines. (2) When electric leakage fault happens in power supply system connected to earth through an arc suppression coil, zero-sequence current value of the grounding line may be similar to the ones of other lines in the whole power supply system, but active component of the zero-sequence current of the grounding line is far more than the ones of non-grounding lines and the superior lines. Finally, it introduced several detecting principle of electric leakage protection of isolated neutral power supply system, and emphatically analyzed an electric leakage protection scheme of power supply system connected to earth through an arc suppression coil which is easily implemented in microcomputer protection, namely line selection method based on zero-sequence active power of lines.
Design of Wireless Sensor Network Based on SimpliciTI Protocol

Abstract:
For problems of large cost and high requirements for hardware of international standards such as GPRS, ZigBee, WiFi, etc., the paper proposed a design scheme of wireless sensor network based on SimpliciTI protocol which has low power consumption and is suitable for small scale RF network. Firstly, it introduced basic principle of SimpliciTI protocol. Nextly it gave a circuit design scheme of wireless sensor node by use of CC2500 RF transceiver and MSP430 microcomputer with super-low power consumption, and introduced networking and communication processes of wireless sensor network based on SimpliciTI. Finally, it introduced location algorithm of wireless sensor network based on distance. For big error of normal multilateral location algorithm, it proposed an improved location algorithm, namely calculating revised value of error of node ordinate through minimizing the square value of difference between actual distance and evaluated distance, and revising initial ordinate of unknown node by use of 2D hyperbola algorithm, so as to improve locating precision.

Abstract:
The paper analyzed characteristics of images of obstacle in front of running locomotive obtained by camera of anti-collision system of mine locomotive, and proposed recognition methods of obstacle away from the locomotive with short, middle and long distances and their realization flows. The testing result showed the method can obtain characteristics of obstacles validly and recognize the obstacles quickly.

Abstract:
The paper indicated security functions of coal mine accident cases were strengthening security consciousness of miners, promoting implementation of security policy, providing reference for urgent processing of accidents, predicting danger of mines, promoting invested funds for mine security, encouraging generation of security conception and advancing development and application of new technologies and equipments. It analyzed structure, functions and development mode of database system of coal mine accident cases. The database realizes sharing and effective management of coal mine accident cases. The next work is to research functions of the database system including intelligent extraction of treatment measures of accidents and prediction of accident danger.
Diagnosis Method of Single-phase Grounding Fault of Distribution Network Based on Fuzzy Reasoning

Abstract:
The paper proposed a diagnosis method of single-phase grounding fault of distribution network based on fuzzy reasoning, namely adopting fuzzy theory to improve three traditional diagnosis methods of single-phase grounding fault including amplitude comparison method of zero-sequence current, method of summation of mutual integral of transient zero-sequence current and signal injection method, and fusing diagnosis results of the three methods for comprehensive judgement by use of fuzzy reasoning theory. For problems of numerous, complicated and short branches of distribution network, the paper proposed a network layering method and used the diagnosis method to judge fault of layered distribution network layer by layer for a final diagnosis result. The analysis result showed that the fault diagnosis method and network layering method can judge fault correctly and quickly.
Research of Timing Synchronization of Mine Through-the-Earth Communication System

Abstract:
The paper researched timing synchronization of mine through-the-earth communication system. It built a simple elastic wave medium model of earth channel firstly and obtained multi-path delay of the model is 20 ms through calculation. Then it simulated, analyzed and compared application performances of data auxiliary timing synchronization method and non data auxiliary timing synchronization method in the through-the-earth communication system by use of Matlab, and got following conclusions: the non data auxiliary timing synchronization method requires high signal power of the through-the-earth communication system, and the data auxiliary timing synchronization method has higher reliability and is fitter for the through-the-earth communication system. Finally, it simulated decoding error rate of the through-the-earth communication system which used the data auxiliary timing synchronization method under the condition that length of cyclic prefix of OFDM was 0.5, 2, 4 times of the maximum delay time separately and SNR was from 0 dB to 18 dB. The simulation result showed that the decoding error rate of the through-the earth communication system achieves 10-5 order of magnitude when the length of cyclic prefix of OFDM is above 2 times of the maximum delay time and the SNR is above 16 dB, which verifies application reliability of the data auxiliary timing synchronization method in the through-the-earth communication system.
Reseach of Wireless Transmission Characteristics of ZigBee in Mine Tunnel

Abstract:
Wireless transmission characteristics of ZigBee were tested and researched in simulated mine environment by use of underground straight tunnel. Firstly, path loss coefficient model was taken as wireless transmission model of mine tunnel, then some communication indexes were tested by use of two GAINZ nodes including wave of received signal strength indication and influence on received signal strength indication by obstacle at places with different distances away from sending node and packet reception rate and received signal strength indication under the condition of different distances between the nodes. The analysis conclusions of testing results are as following: in straight tunnels, the path loss coefficient model is feasible and correct for distance measurement and location by use of received signal strength indication; when distance between two nodes is from 30 m to 40 m in straight tunnels, ZigBee wireless transmission is reliable; parameters of the path loss coefficient model needs setting according to the environment in application of actual mine tunnels.
Research of Mine-used Digital Three-phase Power Supply

Abstract:
For the problem of harmonic pollution of underground power network caused by existing mine-used three-phase power supply, a mine-used digital three-phase power supply based on STM32F103VB was designed and working principle and control strategies of the power supply were introduced in details. A typical AC-DC-AC structure is adopted in the power supply. The voltage-current dual closed loops direct current control strategy is used in PWM rectifier to make input current and input voltage in phase, input current in sine and output voltage in stabilization. The dual closed loops control strategy of outer voltage loop and inner current loop is used in PWM inverter to improve quality of the output voltage waveform and load adaptability. SPWM wave is generated through underflow interruption of TIM1 of STM32F103VB.The experimental results showed that the power supply has high power factor of input and high stability of output with little harmonic of input current.
Simulation Analysis of Single-phase Grounding Fault of Resonant Grounding System

Abstract:
For problem of difficult line selection caused by small current of fault line with uncertain direction when single-phase grounding fault happens in resonant grounding system, the paper theoretically analyzed change law of zero-sequence voltage and zero-sequence current at the time of single-phase grounding fault. It built simulation model of small current grounding system in Matlab and did simulation analysis of isolated neutral system and resonant grounding systems under conditions of full compensation, over compensation and under compensation separately. The simulation analysis result was the same as the theoretical one. Finally it got conclusions, namely when single-phase grounding fault happens, isolated neutral system can use line selection methods based on steady state component of amplitude and direction while resonant grounding system cannot, and the both systems can use the same line selection method based on transient state component.
Research of Fault Line Selection Method of Distribution Network Based on Transient Zero-sequence Energy

Abstract:
For problem of ineffectiveness of traditional line selection methods by use of single feature value caused by complex and random fault borderline, small steady component of fault and reverse phase of instantaneous zero-sequence power when single-phase grounding fault happens in power system connected to earth through an arc suppression coil, the paper proposed a new method of line selection based on transient zero-sequence energy. The method filters nonsymmetrical component and steady component of transient zero-sequence current through a digital filter and gets zero-sequence current of each line and pure transient fault component of zero-sequence voltage of bus in order to get transient zero-sequence energy. Then the method judges fault type and line according to the value and direction of transient zero-sequence energy. When single-phase grounding fault happens, the direction of transient zero-sequence energy of non-fault line is positive, the direction of transient zero-sequence energy of fault line is negative, and absolute value of transient zero-sequence energy of fault line is the sum of the ones of other lines. When the bus grounding fault happens, the value of transient zero-sequence energy of the bus is the sum of the ones of other lines. Meanwhile, in order to solve the problem of low sensitivity of line selection caused by influence of noise on transient zero-sequence energy of the bus, the paper proposed a scheme of usting auto-reclosing technique in the line selection method. The Matlab simulation result showed that the line selection method has high accuracy and reliability.
Simulation Research of Brushless Doubly-fed Machines with Different Rotor Structures

Abstract:
Working principle of brushless doubly-fed machine and characteristics of different kinds of rotor structures were introduced, and brushless doubly-fed machines with four kinds of rotor structures were modeled and simulated by Ansoft software including reluctance rotor, cage rotor, salient poles rotor and salient poles rotor with bars. The results of distribution of magnetic force lines and frequency spectrum of air-gap magnetic field harmonic of the brushless doubly-fed machines were gotten through 2D transient electromagnetic field finite element, which indicate effects of rotor structures on magnetic field modulation of brushless doubly-fed machines. The final conclusion was the reluctance rotor has the best effect on magnetic field modulation and the cage rotor has the worst effect, which provides foundation for optimal design of rotor structure of brushless doubly-fed machine.

Abstract:
The paper introduced working principle and control method of STATCOM and proposed a design scheme of a STATCOM controller. It also gave some problems and corresponding solutions including communication between the master controller and the slave one, jitter elimination in process of data transceiving of displaying CPLD, short circuit in bridges of IGBT and procedures fleet. The controller is based on the theory of hysteresis instantaneous comparison control and uses a mode of master-slave controller. The master controller and the slave one both adopt DSP+CPLD structure so as to improve operation speed and real-time performance of the STATCOM controller.

Abstract:
The paper introduced principle of HARQ technology of LTE system, established simulation platform of LTE system downlink based on type III HARQ, and simulated and compared BLER of LTE system with and without HARQ technology. The simulation result showed that HARQ technology not only reduces BLER of LTE system effectively, but also makes LTE system to get the same as or better communication quality under the condition of low signal-to-noise ratio, namely HARQ technology can improve communication quality of users who are in cell coverage edges and poor radio channels.

Abstract:
For problem of single function of existing mine-used acquisition modules, the paper proposed a design scheme of mine-used multi-function acquisition module and introduced design methods of main hardware circuits and software programs of the module in details. The module uses PGA of ADC to achieve accessing function of multiple analog signals, adopts digital filter to realize multiple detections of frequency and digital signals, and realizes control function of CPU output. The application result showed that the module can acquire multiple signals of field sensors and run stably and reliably.

Abstract:
In order to solve problems of high cost, frequent faults, difficult maintenance and unreliable cable transmission of existing monitoring modes of spontaneous combustion in goaf, a monitoring system of spontaneous combustion in goaf was designed by use of technologies of wireless RF and CAN bus, and whole structure, main hardware parts and realization of key technologies of the system were introduced in details including frequency of wireless communication, working time sequence of probe, working flow of wireless receiving substation and control protocol of wireless route. The testing result showed the system can set up a network quickly and real-timely collect and correctly transmit temperature data of monitored points when distance between two probes is more than 150 m, and working life of the probe acheives 90 d.
Research and Implementation of Key Technologies of Underground Wireless Video Monitoring System

Abstract:
Key technologies of underground wireless video monitoring system were researched and implemented including video data acquisition, coding and decoding, network transmission, etc. The system codes video data by use of MPEG-4 protocol, transmits the coded data through WiFi network and RTP stream medium protocol, and decodes and displays received video data by use of monitoring host. The experimental result showed that the system could transmit 25 frame of MEPG-4 video data and the video images are clear and fluent.
Design of a Mine-used Airflow Detector

Abstract:
For problems of low efficiency, low precision and poor correctness of mine-used airflow detecting methods by use of mechanical or electronic air meter, meter ruler and leather ruler, the paper proposed a design scheme of mine-used airflow detector with multi-parameter measuring function and introduced component, detecting principle and software design of the detector. The detector adopts ultrasound probe and ultrasound time-difference method to measure air speed in tunnel, uses laser impulse method to measure distance between the detecting point and tunnel wall for calculating cross-sectional area of the tunnel, and gets airflow value by multiply calibrated air speed by the cross-sectional area of the tunnel. The testing result showed that the detector can quickly measure airflow in mine tunnel with high precision. The next work is to test correctness of the detector underground.
Development of Novel Detector of Disk Brake in Coal Mine

Abstract:
In order to solve problems of few stored data and lack of communication function of existing detectors of disk brake in coal mine, the paper proposed a design scheme of novel detector of disk brake based on μPSD3354 microprocessor and ADS7957 A/D chip. The detector can automatically detect and real-timely display parameters of working status of disk brakes. When brake clearance exceeds the specified value, the detector will give sound and light alarm and show the exceeding brake. Besides, the detector can store data detected in a year, and transmit the historic data to upper computer. The testing result showed that the detector runs stably and reliably.

Abstract:
The paper introduced basic principle of capacitive sensing touch technology, proposed a design scheme of control panel of collector based on PSoC chip CY8C24794, and introduced design methods of capacitive touch button and slider, monitoring module and USB communication interface between the control panel and computer module in details. The application in a novel RAID collector showed that measuring error of environmental parameters of the control panel is less than 3%, the measuring error of touching button is less than 2%, and the fault ratio is 0.

Abstract:
The paper gave hardware structure of video sensing system of belt conveyor and application methods of Modbus/TCP protocol in the system, namely realization of protocol stack of network program development kit and Modbus/TCP protocol. The testing results showed that the system can transfer and display information of start-stop, coal piling, firing, slipping, tearing, coal quantity and speed of belt conveyor real-timely and accurately.

Abstract:
In order to solve problem of damage of ranging arm of MGTY400/930-3.3D electrical haulage shearer in working process caused by something hard, the paper did improvement analysis of the shearer and pointed out the best method is improving cutting axle. Then it proposed an improvement scheme of cutting axle, namely making a man-made thin point in cutting axle for damage when the drum cuts something hard so as to cut driving power, and making a screw hole in axle center so as to take broken axle out of the motor. The improved shearer has been applied in a fully-mechanized working face of Dongtan Coal Mine. The application showed that the improvement scheme greatly shortens replacement time of cutting axle, decreases fault rate of damage of ranging arm, and improves security of shearer mining.

Abstract:
The paper introduced weak magnetism inspecting principle of steel rope and expounded construction and working principle of an on-line nondestructive inspection system of steel rope of mine hoist. The application showed that the system can inspect inner and outer broken wire and destruction of steel rope of mine hoist with high efficiency, which saves cost of steel rope effectively and reduces inspecting energy-consumption greatly.

Abstract:
The paper introduced composition of a water flow calibration facility which uses weighing method to calibrate standard meters and standard meter method to calibrate measured meters and expounded hardware composition, working principle and design scheme of human-machine interface of control system of the facility. The control system uses S7-300 PLC to collect and process data of the facility and control water-pumps and direction changer, and uses SIMATIC WinCC to realize functions of display of water flow calibration result, parameter setting, form generation, form storage and form inquiry. The testing result showed that both linelikeness and repeatability of vortex flow meter calibrated by the facility achieve precision of 1.0 level and the control system is stable and reliable with little uncertainty.

The paper introduced structure, working principle and module design of an automatic tracking and management system of model machine based on electronic tag and GPRS. The system reads data of model machine in electronic tag on the model machine through RF reader, and sends the data to main computer through GPRS module for manager browsering, so as to realize function of automatic tracking and management of model machine. The testing result showed that the system can help manager to find model machine quickly and improve management efficiency of model machine.

A monitoring software of belt conveyor of coal mine was designed by use of VB6.0, design schemes of the whole structure and real-time monitoring interface of the software were introduced, and communication methods were expounded including serial communication between upper computer and lower computer by use of MSComm and Ethernet communication by use of Winsock. The monitoring software is visual, flexible in control and practicable.

The paper introduced design and control schemes of a control system of plough. Abstract:
For problem of frequent faults of scraper and chain breakage caused by traditional artificial tension mode for chain of scraper conveyor, the paper introduced composition, working principle and operation mode of a dynamic tension control system for chain of scraper conveyor. The system controls expansion and contraction quantity of tension cylinder according to tension of chain measured by load detector, so as to realize automatic control function of tension change of chain with loads. The application showed that the system decreases attrition of chain wheel and chain and fault ratio of scraper and chain breakage, and lengthens working life of scraper conveyor.

Abstract:
The paper proposed a realization method of real-time motion pause function of ACS motion controller. The method makes small program segments be downloaded point by point in the motion instruction queue by splitting large program block into small time segments and adding conditional control statements between the adjacent small program segments, so as to control the whole program effectively and realize real-time motion pause function. The method has been applied in CNC system of spring coiling machine based on ACS motion controller with a perfect effect of real-time motion pause and no accumulative error.
