  • The paper proposed a space vector modulation strategy based on three-terminal output topo-(logy) of three-phase to two-phase matrix converter which uses indirect transform technology and the matrix converter is considered as a combination of a virtual rectifier and a virtual inverter.It analyzed link of (virtual) inverter emphatically,gave detailed modulation algorithm,and got calculation formula of duty ration of the matrix converter by integrating links of virtual rectifier and virtual inverting.The experiment result based on dSPACE platform showed that the matrix converter with the modulation strategy can get symmetric two-phase sine output(current) whose angles’ shift is 90° and sine input current with unity power factor,which proves correctness and effectiveness of the modulation strategy.
