  • In view of problem of low accuracy of coal-rock interface identification, the paper took coal-rock image with higher color discrimination of a Coal Face as an example to use edge detection method and gray threshold method to make coal-rock segmentation processing for the image separately, and the processing result shows that the scheme of coal-rock interface identification based on gray threshold method has higher identification accuracy with obvious gray difference of color of coal-rock.
