Design of hook number statistics system of mine hoist based on DM642

In view of problems of inaccurate counting and low efficiency of traditional hook number statistics method of mine hoist, a hook number statistics system of mine hoist based on DM642 was designed. General structure of the system was given, implementation of hoist hook number statistics algorithm which integrated Sobel operator edge detection algorithm and frame difference algorithm were introduced in details. The experiment result validated real-time performance and accuracy of the system.
