  • Mathematical model of product structure optimization was established according to characteristics of process of coal preparation plant, and steps of optimizing the product structure by ant colony algorithm were given. Nantun Coal Preparation Plant was used for example to simulate, and the best yields of products under various constraints were obtained. The simulation results showed the feasibility of ant colony algorithm for product structure optimization of coal preparation plant.
