Analysis of Instability of Process Control of Material Level for Ore Bin and Its Reform

  • In one mixture ore of sintering plant,process control of material level for ore bin used Smith predictor time delay compensation system.In running process of the system,when material level changed in large,serious instability of the process control appeared.The paper analyzed causes of delay for process control of mixed ore bin,and adopted a new compensation method of time delay which used a modified feedback Smith predictor.Taking ABB’s controller as platform, a new time delay compensation control system was built,which overcome the time delay effectively and fluctuations caused by external disturbance.The practical application showed that the system has high control alibility,good robustness,and good anti-interference ability and resolves instability of process control of the mixture ore bin of sintering plant.
