Application of Theory of Sliding Mode Variable Structure in AC Servo System

Theory of sliding mode variable structure and it’s present situation in AC servo systems are introduced in this paper. The control ideology, advantages and disadvantages are analyzed. Sliding mode variable structure control and other integrated control policies are also introduced. This paper points out that integrated control policy is a effective way to achieve excellent control.
