Improved SDT Algorithm and Its Application in Process Data Compressio

The importance and the features of process data compression are described in this paper. The main principle of SDT (Swinging Door Trending) algorithm and the improved SDT is also introduced, the software diagrams of offline compression, online compression and signal reconstruction are given. In the end, the application of SDT algorithm is presented and the performance of the improved SDT algorithm is analyzed.
