Design of Automatic Control System of Spraying for Dust Suppression on Coal Face

  • In order to improve environment of coal face,an automatic control system of spraying for dust suppression on coal face was designed.The system can realize positioning function for shearer through infrared emitter boarded on shearer and infrared receiving sensor installed on the supports,and control intrinsic safe type electromagnetic valves on the supports to spray according to the position of the shearer,which can eliminate dust in downwind direction of cutting-head of the shearer and realize function of automatic dust suppression on coal face.The actual running showed that the system solves the problem of automatic spray between supports of fully mechanical coal face and can implement multi-channel barriers and high-efficiency dedusting to a large range and high-concentration dust produced in coal mining,which can reduce dust concentration.
