Design of Adaptive Control System of Belt Conveyor of Coal Mine Underground

  • In view of problem of idle motion of belt conveyor existed in belt conveyor system of Wangzhuang Coal Mine, a design scheme of adaptive control system of belt conveyor of coal mine underground was proposed. Load current signals of four driving motors of present stage and pre-stage belt conveyors are collected by PLC and load of belt conveyor was forecasted dynamically after the signals are processed by control software, then control frequency signal is output according to the load, which controls frequency converter to drive belt conveyor with corresponding frequency, so as to make belt conveyor run with the best speed. The test result showed that the system can reduce no-load loss of belt conveyor obviously and save electric energy.
