  • Collected video image is not clear because of grey environment of coal mine underground. Especially, field image need image enhancement and contour extracting when accident happens. To solve the problem, the paper introduced a design method of image enhancement and contour extracting based on Visual C++. The method uses Visual C++ to process bitmap image, uses gray level transformation method to realize image enhancement and uses template matching method to realize edge detection for outstanding contour. The experiment result showed that the image processed by the method is enhanced and its contour is extracted preferably, which achieves expected effect.
