  • In view of the problem that monitoring and control system of coal mine using wire communication mode ca't realize flexible collection of information,a wireless gas monitoring system based on VB6.0 was built and design of software of the wireless gas monitoring system based on VB6.0 was mainly introduced.The software receives gas data information sent by data collection terminal through CAN bus network and determines operation location,operator and gas concentration according to content of data frames,and stores these data in SQL Server 2000 database,so as to realize functions of over-limit alarm of gas concentration,realtime data display and query of personnel location information.
