  • In order to overcome difficulty of expressing mining subsidence situation of working face fully and availably by use of normal methods of drawing metabolic curves, the paper proposed a scheme of using Surfer8.0 to do visualization expression and mapping of mining subsidence data collected by observing station on the ground, and introduced concrete application methods of Surfer8.0 in drawing metabolic isopleths and 3D visualization expression. The comparison result with mapping by MapGIS, Surfer8.0 can realize visualization expression and mapping of mining subsidence data quickly and accurately with better output graphics.
