Active Power Filter for Three-phase Four-wire System Based on Sliding Mode Control

  • The paper built the mathematic model of active power filter(APF) for three-phase four-wire system by use of four-legged inverter as main circuit.The APF is based on sliding mode control strategy,which uses the exponential reaching law to eliminate chattering.The simulation results in Matlab showed that the APF for three-phase four-wire system with the slide mode control strategy has good performance of harmonic suppression.
