A measurement scheme of mass flow of phosphate concentrate slurry

  • In view of problem that measurement result of flow of phosphate concentrate slurry is easy to be influenced by density of phosphate concentrate slurry and solid particles in fluid, the paper proposed a measurement scheme of mass flow of phosphate concentrate slurry. The scheme uses frequency output type electromagnetic flowmeter to measure volume flow of fluid, and uses mass flowmeter and densimeter with small caliber paralleled in measuring pipeline to measure real-time density of the fluid, the both measured signals are made accumulated calculation in flow totalizer, so as to realize accurate measurement for mass flow of phosphate concentrate slurry. The actual application shows that the scheme ensures stability, reliability and accuracy of measured data and can realize custody transfer metering for mass flow of phosphate concentrate slurry with lower cost.
