Abstract
Stiffness and strength simulation calculation for magnetic barriers of rotor punching of 200 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor were conducted by use of finite element software ANSYS Workbench, and initial design structure were improved according to the calculation results, that is, a set of magnetic barriers with 1.5 mm width are added in radial magnetic path of hybrid magnetic structure of rotor core, and fit tolerance between the rotor core and shaft is optimized. The simulation results show that the improved structure obviously improves stress distribution of magnetic barriers of the rotor punching and reliability of the permanent magnet synchronous motor. It provides design basis for rotor punching of permanent magnet synchronous motor.
