Design of wireless monitoring system of shearer

  • In view of problems of complex wiring, aging wires and inability to extend function existed in underground wired monitoring system of shearer, a wireless monitoring system of shearer was designed by use of ZigBee technology, and software and hardware design schemes of wireless sensor node, router node and coordinator node were focused on. The system uses wireless sensor node to collect running status parameters of shearer. Router node receives and transmits the collected data to coordinator node for analysis and processing through ZigBee network. The coordinator node sends the processed data to upper computer through RS485 bus, so as to realize remote monitoring of running status of shearer.
