Research of optimization of address assignment for underground wireless sensor networks

  • For existing problems of underground wireless network topology, namely limited network depth and waste of resources in distributed address assignment mechanism, and address conflicts in stochastic address assignment mechanism, binary address assignment mechanism was proposed, namely optimize the network topology by applying unused addresses to parent nodes or children nodes. The simulation analysis and practical application results show that the binary address assignment mechanism greatly improves success ratio of address assignment, and raises real-time performance and reliability of underground wireless data transmission.
