Abstract: In view of problem of low prediction efficiency and bad operability of existing prediction method of gas outburst region, the paper put forward a visualization method of prediction of gas outburst region based on ArcGIS. The method is used to analyze integrated intersection or union of trend surface for multiple gas outburst prediction indexes based on the theory and method of geological information system, trend surface analysis theory and visualization technology, a set of software of the ArcGIS Engine accompanied with the C# programming language, and correspond and overlap the trend surface with the latest mining engineering plan, so as to achieve intuitive visualization identification function of dangerous zone of gas outburst.
