Abstract: In view of problem that hard to learn and use existing command-line configuration methods of management switcher because it need memory and input configuration command in order, the paper realized window configuration interface of management switcher with VB, programmed frame transceiver and protocol analysis programs as well as simulation software of SMI sequence of management CPU by C programming language. And the management CPU could read or write the switcher registers' values by the simulation software of SMI sequence, so as to realize management type configuration of the switcher. The test result showed that the configuration software is simple and reliable in use, and the configurated switcher runs stably.
