Abstract: A kind of technique of design of a prepaid single-phase electronic watt-hour meter was presented. The working principle, hardware constitutes and functions were mainly discussed. The hardware circuit was given. Application on spot indicated that the watt-hour meter has high anti-interference, low cost, safe and simple to use. So it will be widely used.
