Abstract: The paper discussed relationship of sensor mine and digital mine and integrated automation of mine, and pointed out that the concept of sensor mine is sublimation of concepts of both digital mine and integrated automation of mine. It also gave sensor mine model based on three-layer digital mine model. It presented explicitly that the core problem of sensor mine is three kinds of sensing, which is to sense disaster omen to realize early warning, to sense environment to realize active safety guarantee, and to sense health status of mine equipments to realize foreknowledge maintain. The key of construction of sensor mine system is building of sensor layer network and the goal is to decrease disasters and ensure safety.
