Abstract: The paper discussed construction models of spatial database of smart mine based on analysis of composition and characteristics of mine spatial data, and expounded construction of spatial data framework of smart mine from three aspects which are spatial data reference, spatial data classification and coding standards and metadata standards. Meanwhile, the paper introduced main contents of mine spatial database design in details, which are basic database, theme database and metadata database. Finally, the paper also pointed out the future research direction of building spatial database including theories and methods of mine spatial database building and data updating, framework and content of spatial database, and mine data standard and so on.
