Design and application analysis of detection system of pumping unit

For problem that most of oil fields in China determines operating conditions of pumping unit mainly by virtue of human experience, and cannot detect failure of pumping unit timely, the paper introduced a new design scheme of detection system of pumping unit from system functions, hardware design and software design. The system uses distributed control structure and GPRS wireless communication mode to achieve monitoring of current and voltage of motor, load, displacement and other parameters of pumping unit.
