Application Research of Remote Tripping Opposite Switch for Dead-zone Fault in 220 kV Line

  • In view of problem of no remote tripper to trip opposite switch when 220 kV system appears dead-zone fault, the paper detailedly introduced design scheme of using current protection devices to trip opposite switch to clear fault quickly by taking 220 kV system of one substation as example. The actual application showed that concerned secondary circuit of remote tripping opposite switch runs well when the 220 kV system appears dead-zone fault, which validates correctness of the design scheme.
