Research of Optimization of Control System of Electric Pitch of Wind Turbines

  • Due to the influence of randomness, unstability and aerodynamic effect of wind speed, variable pitch control system of wind turbine generators has characteristics of nonlinear, parameter variability and strong coupling, so it is difficult to realize high-precision control for wind power generation system and the output power quality is poor. In order to improve dynamic performace in operation area of constant power output of the system, the paper analyzed exsisting situation of control system of electric pitch of wind turbines and established model of wind turbine generators. It also proposed optimized control strategy of electric pitch and designed variable pitch controller based fuzzy control.The results of simulation showed that the control effect of independent pitch control is better than the uniform pitch control, and the technology realizes optimized control of independent variable pitch of each blande of wind turbines, optimizes constant power control of wind power system when wind speed is over the rated speed, which has strong anti-jamming capability and high control precision.
