Implementation of Management Type Switch Based on SMI

摘要: 提出了一种嵌入式微控制器LPC2368通过串行管理接口SMI配置管理型交换机的设计方案；以RTL8306E交换机为例，详细介绍了RTL8306E与LPC2368的接口电路的硬件及软件设计。工业性试验结果表明，该交换机实现了SNMP、TELNET、Web、CONSOLE等多种接口方式，性能稳定可靠，完全达到设计要求。Abstract: The paper proposed a design scheme of management type switch which is configured by embedded micro-controller LPC2368 through SMI. Taking RTL8306E switch as example, it introduced design of hardware and software of interface circuit of RTL8306E and LPC2368 in details. The industrial test result showed that the switch realizes various interface modes of SNMP, TELNET, Web and CONSOLE and reaches design requirements with stable and reliable performances.
