Abstract: Application and experiment result of radio wave in roadways is introduced. In combination with the result, the author points out that radio wave attenuations in roadway is mainly by wave refraction and reflection rather than wall absorption. Desides long wave and medium wave frequency bands, ultra-short wave frequency band must be taken more attention. Finally the author gives some suggestions in improving radio propagation in roadways.
