Abstract: The paper introduced a information management system of material storage based on Client/Ser ver. Unique and practical thought of design is adopted to realize a set of operations after the materials were received. The system included operations of checking in, examining, approving, checking out and returning on Internet. The security management was assured excellently through applying the access control strategy which is supported by “two phase” setting for right. The database management system with Client/Server model as well as the concurrent controlling resolved by lock method based on affair realized many operators access this system at the same time.
