Abstract: Making use of P-MOSFET, the author designed a kind of high speed current-intercepting switch. Being put serially between the load and DC power source, when the load’s current is larger than the magnitude permitted, the power supply can be out off immediately. With such a switch, power source (having) the character of intrinsic safety can be well formed, which can be used in explosive environment.
