Abstract: A design method of portable detector of carbon monoxide was introduced in the paper.The principle of gas detection by infrared technology and method of design and implementing of hardware and software of the system were expounded.The detector made full use of the hardware resource of MSP430 and had some advantages such as low power consumption,quick and precise measurement.-
