Design of safety protection system of mine electric locomotive

  • In view of problems that existing coal mine electric locomotive safety control cannot effectively prevent red light running, rear-end collision and collision, a kind of safety protection system of mine electric locomotive was designed. The system adopts radio frequency wireless communication technology and uses signals of signal, integrated and blocked system to control safe operation of the electric locomotive, which realizes functions of red light alarm, vehicle distance presentation and over-speed control. The practical application shows that the system improves security of electric locomotive transportation, and greatly reduces rate of transportation accidents.
