Design of Wireless Tracking and Positioning System of Underground Personnel Based on WiFi and ZigBee

Abstract:
In order to solve problems of high cost, complex installation and limitation of zone location of current mine personnel positioning system, the paper put forward a design scheme of wireless tracking and positioning system of underground personnel based on WiFi and ZigBee and a real-time positioning method based on one-dimensional linear space which is perfectly fit for realistic requirement of mine underground, and introduced designs of hardware and software of the system in details. The system uses WiFi technology to construct wireless voice local network, uses ZigBee technology to construct wireless sensor monitoring network, and achieves coverage of real-time communication signals and positioning signals through integrated substations which can transmit WiFi and ZigBee signals simultaneously. The system has been applied with a good effect.

Abstract:
The paper proposed a design scheme of signal transmission of mine locomotive based on leakage communication technology, and focused on how to send state information encoded into DTMF signals of the locomotive to certain handset and display the state information in text fast, accurately and real-timely through leakage communication platform. The scheme realizes wireless transmission of locomotive signals, and can improve security of underground locomotive transport and safety management capability of underground locomotive deployment and transport. The actual application showed the feasibility and effectiveness of the scheme.

Abstract:
An information authentication system of driver of rubber-tyred vehicle based on MF RC522 was designed and constitution, working principle, radio frequency chip MF RC522 and design of radio frequency antenna circuit of the system were focused on. The system realizes authentication of driver information by reading information from a non-contact key-card to determine whether the driver satisfies driving requirement, and provides a basis for development of driver information management system.

Abstract:
Design schemes of hardware and software of a frequency-conversion speed-regulation device of continuous shearer were introduced. Firstly the vector frequency converter was selected according to requirements of continuous shearer on frequency converter, then designs of main circuit, control circuit, leakage protection circuit, radiate module and software of the device were discussed in details. The device realizes motion control of continuous shearer. The field application indicated that the device is practical and reliable and has easy maintenance.

Abstract:
A new acquisition and analysis system of load data of bolt and cable was designed considering disadvantages of low accuracy, difficult reading and low efficiency of current methods of acquisition and analysis of bolt and cable of load data. The load data is acquired by wireless transmission technology and then analyzed by software. The system can improve accuracy of data analysis and provides a more scientific basis for determining safety of tunnel supporting.

Abstract:
The paper proposed an opinion of constructing mathematics models which accords with characters of Marcov chain according to characteristics of coal mine, and used Marcov chain as a basic analyzing tool to describe mathematics modeling methods in three fields including fault analysis of electromechanical equipments, early warning analysis of underground waterbursting, and forecasting analysis of emergency rescue in details. The constructed models can predict probability of equipment faults, probability of underground waterbursting and escape situation after emergency, which provides probable data for coal mine disaster predicting and theory support for technology realization of coal mine disaster predicting system.

Abstract:
For the problem that most dual-circuit power supply systems in coal mine underground could not accord with requirements of version 2009 of Coal Mine Safety Regulations, the paper presented a way of renovation and optimization of operation mode of dual-circuit power supply system, and pointed out that dual-circuit power supply system which uses parallel operation mode still has a problem of uneasy switchover caused by electric resetting and the problem should be further researched.

Abstract:
A fully distributed control structure consisted of intelligent motor control center, local intelligent control box, intelligent instrument and intelligent electric actuator was presented for disadvantage of current centralized control system of coal preparation plant caused by seperation of distribution equipments and control devices, and development and correlated products of intelligent motor control center and intelligent instruments were introduced in details. The structure can achieve integration of power distribution and control, and improve system reliability and production management level.

Abstract:
A suitable routing mechanism for wireless sensor network in mine gob area was designed.Firstly, LEACH cluster heads selection mechanism was improved by adding remaining energy parameter to threshold function,then a routing algorithm of wireless sensor network was designed with the improved protocol and multi-path routing mechanism. Finally,three experiments were given with NS-2 network simulation platform. The experimental results showed that the improved protocol has improved energy efficiency of nodes and extended life cycle of network.

Abstract:
The paper introduced structure and working principle of optical fiber gas sensor,and introduced working principle and new technologies of direct detection and tunable diode laser spectroscopy of multi-point fiber gas sensor system OptoSniff. The laboratory test results showed that the system has advantages of long transmission distance,fast response,high accuracy,and no periodic calibration. There is still a problem in application of the system in coal mine,namely the system can’t achieve in-place sound and light alarms.

Abstract:
In order to solve problems of wasting network bandwidth and server overload existed in traditional real-time streaming data transmission mode of unicast and IP multicast,the paper put forward a method of building multicast tree of application layer of overlay network based on immune algorithm. The method uses immune algorithm to divide multicast island and select multicast service nodes with the minimum system cost by taking round trip time of links and degree of nodes as constraints,and realizes the global optimal selection of multicast service nodes. The simulation results showed the method is effective,and has faster convergence speed and better search ability than traditional genetic algorithm.

Abstract:
The paper used determinate and stochastic Petri net to establish a model of message transmission delay of Profibus-DP single master-station system and did simulation analysis in TimeNet software. It got relationship between message transmission delay and target-token cycle time and gave a method of setting target-token cycle time reasonably according to parameters of Profibus-DP in actual projects taking STEP7 software as an example,so as to make monitoring and control system get better real-time performance. The simulation result showed correctness of the model.
Speed Measuring Method of Underground Locomotive Based on Image Processing Technology

Abstract:
A new speed measuring method for underground locomotive based on image processing technology was proposed to solve problems of high cost and fault rate of traditional method using sensors to measure speed. Firstly the centroid coordinate of template is obtained by template matching,then the moving distance of the template in two consecutive pictures is got by using the change of the centroid coordinate in the pictures. The moving distance is transformed into actual driving distance of locomotive through scale coefficients next,and the speed of the locomotive is calculated according to time gap between the two pictures. The experiment showed that the method can determine speed of locomotive real-timely and has a reliable performance.
Low-speed Sensorless Control Technology of PMSM Based on Dual PWM Regulators

Abstract:
In order to improve the poor performance of sensorless control of PMSM using extended Kalman filter at low speed,the paper proposed a novel low-speed sensorless control technology of PMSM based on dual PWM regulators. The technology takes DC part before the inverter into the adjustment range and realizes demand-based regulation of DC bus voltage according to given speed and torque. At the same level of output voltage,the case of using dual PWM regulators and the one of using fixed DC bus voltage were simulated in Matlab/Simulink,and the simulation result was verified by DSPACE 1103 system. The experimental results showed that extended Kalman filter system can get good control performance at low speed by use of dual PWM regulators.

Abstract:
There are problems in gas monitoring using portable gas alarm in working face of coal mine,such as gas concentration reporting is tedious and boring. In the paper,camera was used to monitor portable gas alarm real-timely and methods of image processing and automatic identification of images collected by the camera were also put forward. The specific processes in automatic identification of gas concentration including image preprocessing,detection of image edge,and segmentation of displaying region of gas concentration were introduced in details,namely using image graycale method and mid-value filtering method to preprocess the monitored images,using Roberts operator,Prewitt operator and Sobel operator to extract image edges separately and using Hough transformation to detect straight lines of the edge, so as to segment target images.

Abstract:
In view of problems of complex operation and high maintenance cost existed in application of large databases in modern information management of coal mine, the paper proposed a scheme of modern information management of coal mine by use of SQLite database. It introduced basic structure and characteristics of SQLite database and gave simulation analysis of the scheme. The test result showed that SQLite database can fully play advantages of high efficiency and useability for portal website and office automation system in modern information management of coal mine, but SQLite database has certain limitation for gas monitoring and control system which needs a lot of concurrent operation.

Abstract:
An identification method of coal and rock interface based on principal component analysis was proposed, and principle of principal component analysis and identification process was described in details. The method uses multiple sensors to monitor parameters simultaneously of shearer when the shearer is cutting coal, and does real-time principal component analysis of the parameters. The coal and mine interface is identified by capturing exceptions in cutting course according to statistics of HotellingT2 and SPE which were established with main meta information. The practical application showed that the method can identify coal and rock interface rapidly and accurately.

Abstract:
A design scheme of temperature monitoring node of real-time temperature monitoring system for high-voltage electrical equipments based on wireless sensor network was introduced. The node is consisted of microprocessor MSP430F2012, temperature sensor DS18B20 and wireless transceiver controller nRF24L01. In process of temperature monitoring, the temperature sensor collects temperature data regularly and sends the data to the microprocessor for processing, then the node sends real-time temperature data to base station through the wireless transceiver controller. The node achieves real-time monitoring of high-voltage electrical equipment, satisfies the demand on low power consumption, and improves stability of the equipments and reliability of the monitoring system.

Abstract:
A setting calculation method of microcomputer protection for mine-used main transformer was introduced with an example of a main transformer of a large-scale coal mine. Firstly, the short-circuit current was accurately calculated by normalized value method and verified by MVA method, then setting values of differential protection and standby protection were calculated separately. The practical running result showed that the setting method can cut off fault point sensitively, reliably, quickly and choicely.

A design scheme of boiler temperature control system based on DSP and current loop was proposed, and designs of generator and receiver of the current loop, DSP processing module and control algorithm were introduced in details. The boiler temperature control was realized by using TMS320F2812 DSP as a controller, 4~20 mA current loop as transmission mode, and PID as control algorithm.
